Travis Kelces message to Josh Allen after Chiefs beat Bills shows
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had a heartfelt message for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen after their hard-fought contest in the Divisional Round

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce shared a post-game exchange with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen following their latest clash in what is becoming an epic AFC rivalry.

The Chiefs beat the Bills by the narrowest of margins after a missed field goal from the Bills allowed the defending Super Bowl champions to secure a 27-24 win and a place in the AFC Championship Game, for the sixth consecutive year.

Kelce comforted Allen at the end of the game, saying: "You know it's all the love in the world baby," and "Love you brother. Helluva job getting here. That s*** is crazy that you got here."

The Bills shone over the second half of the season, winning six out of their last seven games - for a final record of 11-6 and the second seed in the AFC after a Week 18 win over the Miami Dolphins clinched the AFC East.

Along the way the Bills trumped the Chiefs on December 10, involving a contentious play. Kadarius Toney, wide receiver for the Chiefs, had his winning touchdown discarded due to being offside before the ball was snapped.

Following the turnaround from 5-5 to divisional champions, the Bills faced the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round, where Allen led the way. The 27-year-old completed 21 out of 30 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns. In a show of his skills, Allen even rushed for a touchdown himself.

Against the Chiefs, Allen's performance wasn't as strong, but that was expected given Kansas City's tough defence. Despite this, he completed 26 out of 39 pass attempts for 186 yards and one touchdown, while leading the team in rushing yards with 72 and a pair of touchdowns himself.

Meanwhile, Kelce had a great game too. The 34-year-old, watched from the stands by girlfriend Taylor Swift, totalled five receptions for 75 yards and scored two touchdowns in a welcome return to form.

Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also set a new record for the most touchdowns by a quarterback-receiver duo in NFL playoff history with 16, beating Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski's record of 15.

With Kelce, Mahomes and the Chiefs now heading to the AFC Championship Game for the sixth year in a row, Allen and the Bills are left to reflect on playoff defeat for the fifth season in a row and six in seven seasons under head coach Sean McDermott.

Despite Kelce's words of comfort, the Chiefs are proving to be the Bills nemesis, knocking off Allen and his teammates in the post season in three of the last four seasons.
