But the very last thing on my Cobra Kai bingo card was the country music superstar showing up to the All Valley festivities, as herself, only to belt out a Music Cityfied '80s power ballad. The cameo, along with the entirety of Cobra Kai Season Four, was a trip. The kiddos switched sides faster than you can chop a 2 x 4. The villainous Terry Silver rose again. Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso gave us yet another act in their bromance. As is usually the case with this show, it's a lot to unpack.

Since we're getting Season Five of Cobra Kai and likely spinoffs down the road, too, let's break down the twisty Season Four finale.

Miguel's Dad Knows Karate, Just a Hunch

Looks like Cobra Kai is going on another road trip. This time? Instead of revisiting Okinawa, the show will keep things a little closer to home and head to Mexico. After a Cobra Kai season of daddy issues (even more so than usual!), Miguel will head south to find his estranged father. Not only that, but Johnny Lawrence vowed to follow him down there. So we can already safely lock in a plot line for Season Five: Miguel and Johnny in Mexico, buddying around and fighting chumps, just like Mr. Miyagi and Daniel LaRusso did in The Karate Kid II. I'm willing to put as much money as Mr. Miyagi did on the ice-block-chopping contest that Miguel's dad is coincidentally a karate master.

Terry Silver Leaves Cocaine Behind, Fulfills His Destiny

Finally, Silver admits that he was snorting coke during the events of The Karate Kid III. Explains a lot! When we meet him early in the season, he's a sobered-up rich dude, turning down perfectly good crème brûlée. And... that's not who he is at the end of Season Four. His journey was all about turning back into the maniac we met in The Karate Kid III. First, Cobra Kai wins the All Valley title, priming the dojo for a takeover of the Valley. Then, Silver frames John Kreese for beating the hell out of Stingray. Looks like Terry Silver will be the one and only big bad of Cobra Kai Season Five. And you can bet that when Kreese gets out of jail, he'll beeline straight for his former partner.

The Kids Are (Somewhat) All Right

Who's good? Who's bad? Who knows! In this season of Cobra Kai, allegiances and moods seemingly change by the episode. Let's just highlight the main kiddos:

Miguel: Likely out of office for the start of Season Five. See above.

Robby: Finally, the kid gives his dad a hug. Miyagi-do will welcome him back with open arms. (Yes, that's a Journey reference.)

Tory: Just like it was for Robby, Season Four for Tory was all about her detoxing from being a demon child. She'll switch allegiances.

Eli: Eli finally gets his hero moment. Let's hope he never grows back that abomination on his head. Maybe a tattoo removal is in the cards, too.

Sam: Damn. Sam got mean. Bad parenting by Danny LaRusso this season, huh? I wouldn't be surprised if she went The Karate Kid III and jumped ship to Cobra Kai next season.

Kenny: Poor kid. Kenny was nice! He had promise! This is Cobra Kai, though, so he'll get a redemption tour soon. We hope.

Little LaRusso: Still don't feel bad for him. Kid's a brat and he ruined Kenny. Don't let him fool you—he'll break bad again 10 minutes into Season Five.

Aisha: More Aisha, please. The cameo didn't cut it.

Demetri: Still the GOAT. He'll always be good.

The Best Karate KidLives On

Season Three of Cobra Kai celebrated the great The Karate Kid II—with LaRusso revisiting Okinawa, hanging out with Kumiko, and making amends with Chozen. Which is exactly why it felt like a bummer when, seemingly, leaving Okinawa again meant leaving Kumiko and Chozen behind. Praise Mr. Miyagi, Chozen is back. Apparently, LaRusso won't give up sensei-ing as he originally promised. Instead, he's doubling down and recruiting Chozen to teach the ways of Miyagi-do. Hopefully, that means Chozen will kick Silver's ass at one point. Or multiple. We're just hoping LaRusso doesn't bicker with Chozen like he did with Johnny. Our hearts can't take it.
