FC Barcelona's possible opponents in Copa del Rey quarter finals

Victory over Unionistas de Salamanca means that Barça will be one of the eight teams going into the draw for the Copa del Rey quarter finals this Friday at 1pm CET. The seven possible opponents are Sevilla, Athletic Club, Mallorca, Celta, Real Sociedad, Girona and either Real Madrid or Atlético Madrid, who are playing the last round of 16 fixture in Thursday's late game.

Sevilla were the first side through thanks to a 3-1 win at Getafe. An hour later, full time blew on Athletic Club's 2-0 defeat of fellow Basque side Alavés and then Mallorca squeezed through 1-0 at one of the two lower league sides to make it this far, Tenerife.

There was yet another away win for Celta on Wednesday, 3-0 at Valencia, and the visitors were also victorious when Real Sociedad beat Osasuna 2-0. And league leaders Girona kept their hopes of what would be an extraordinary double alive when they saw off Rayo Vallecano 3-1.
