LIVE: Fuel shortages at Devon petrol stations after Storm Eunice

LIVE Fuel shortages at Devon petrol stations after Storm Eunice
Shipments into Plymouth were disrupted

Fuel shortages across Devon have left some drivers facing huge queues, as lost shipments due to Storm Eunice have disrupted petrol stations.

Stations in Ashburton, Ivybridge, and others have all reported shortages, it's been reported.

The issue, ITV reported, is to do with Storm Eunice and not - as some have speculated - the Ukraine crisis which temporarily upped oil prices this week.

Shipments into Plymouth were disrupted during the bad weather last week when high winds hit the UK.

This meant that some lorry drivers were unable to deliver and unload fuel at the terminals.

A Shell garage in Ashburton has been without diesel, with no delivery until next week.

Meanwhile, a BP garage in Ivybridge is limiting drivers to a maximum of £30 per purchase.

We will be updating this developing story as more information is available. Updates to come.
