DAN WESTON LEAVES KENT CRICKET
Dan Weston, the Club's Senior Data Analyst, has left Kent Cricket to allow him to pursue further opportunities elsewhere.

Dan Weston, the Club’s Senior Data Analyst, has left Kent Cricket to allow him to pursue further opportunities elsewhere.

Weston joined Kent Cricket in 2022, bringing his experience in recruitment support and player analysis to the Club.

Kent’s Director of Cricket, Simon Cook, said: “Dan has been a valuable member of the Club’s leadership team in the professional cricket department.

“He’s made significant contributions to player recruitment strategies, supporting us in identifying high-potential young talent. As someone who enjoys the analytical side of the game, I’ve enjoyed working with him.

“On behalf of everyone at the Club, we wish Dan all the best with his future endeavours.”

On leaving Kent Cricket, Weston said: “Having grown up in Tunbridge Wells, it’s been an honour to work with my home county and I’ll take with me some fond memories from my time at the Club.

“I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to captains Daniel Bell-Drummond and Sam Billings for their support. I’m also grateful to the Club’s Chair, Simon Philip, for his support throughout my time at Kent.

“Shortly before the start of this season’s Vitality Blast campaign, the Club and I mutually agreed to go our separate ways in order for me to pursue further opportunities elsewhere. I wish the Club all the best for the future.”
