GEORGINA RODRIGUEZ has admitted fame has its downside and she misses going supermarket shopping with her football star husband.

The 27-year-old has gone from being an unknown outside of her circle of family and friends to a household name with nearly 30 million Instagram followers.

It is five-and-a-half years since she met Man United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Argentine-born beauty, the daughter of a convicted drugs trafficker who grew up in the Spanish Pyrenees city of Jaca, will reveal new details of her rags-to-riches life in a Netflix docu-series out on January 27 called 'Soy Georgina'

She posted new clips of the six-parter on her social media on Saturday, showing her standing outside the grim-looking graffiti-scarred block of flats where she is thought to have spent part of her childhood.

In it she says: “I dreamed of having a Prince Charming at my side and today I have it.

"Thanks to love, my life is now a dream.

"It's very important not to forget where I come from. I know what it's like to have nothing and I know what it's like to have everything."·

But the pretty brunette confessed in an interview with a Spanish newspaper life as a celeb is not without its drawbacks.

Georgina, asked how she coped with having cameras outside her door and the effect fame had on her daily life, told leading daily El Mundo: “That’s the part I find most difficult and miss the most with Cris.

"Things like wanting to go to a shop or supermarket like I see a lot of couples doing.

“At times I think we have a lot of good things, but it’s hard not being able to go to corner cafe, always having to go to restaurants well-organised so people don’t bother you, that you can’t go to school to pick up your kids.

“You lose a lot of everyday things that you had before, that Cris lost a long time ago and neither of us have now.

“We don’t live locked away at home all the time, Cris works and trains but we go to have dinner and buy things at quieter places.”

The model and influencer insisted earlier this week she was very happy in Manchester despite the questions swirling around her partner’s Old Trafford future

She confirmed again she and her family had adapted rapidly to their new life in the UK after moves from Madrid to Turin and now England because of his soccer career.

She added: “The change of city has been very easy and we haven’t noticed the change.

“We enjoyed the same lifestyle in Manchester, Turin or Madrid.

“The only difference is that in Manchester it’s a little colder but as I grew up in Jaca I don’t notice it a lot either.”
