What a week he’s having!

Named in the England squad and now he’s put Palace in front in a massive FA Cup quarter-final.

It’s a brilliant delivery from Michael Olise - who had almost scored directly from a corner moments earlier - and terrible defending from Everton as Guehi is left all alone to head into the far corner.

20 mins: Palace’s best move of the match so far as Olise works it across the box to Zaha, who plays a clever reverse pass into the feet of Eze. He gets his shot away but it’s straight at Pickford.

17 mins: In fact, Townsend leaves the stretcher and is instead carried away with the support of a couple of medical staff. He gets a rousing ovation from both sets of fans and Demarai Gray is on.

15 mins: The stretcher is being called for. Gutting for Townsend, returning to his former club.

13 mins: This isn’t a great sight. Andros Townsend goes down by the corner flag and seems to roll his ankle. He’s immediately beating the floor in pain and waving for the physio.

7 mins: Almost another big decision for the referee to make as Gordon weaves a cracking ball in behind for Richarlison and he goes down under the challenge of Guehi but the offside flag is raised.

3 mins: This is a properly hairy start from Palace. Guehi allows the ball to run across him back towards his own goal and Richarlison gets to it first. The Palace man lunges in to make amends and just gets enough of a touch on the ball.

Townsend delivers from the left and the ball breaks kindly for Michael Keane but he shanks horribly. So horrible, in fact, that it almost turns into a back-post cross for Godfrey, but he can’t quite connect.
