Who won I'm A Celebrity 2021? Danny Miller crowned winner during ITV show's live final
Danny Miller has won I'm A Celebrity 2021, after being crowned the winner during the live final on ITV on Sunday evening.
The Emmerdale actor, who played Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap for 13 years, was speechless as his name was read out, while runner-up Simon Gregson was quick to celebrate for him.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly made the announcement live on air, as the final episode of the series came to a close.
It was Emmerdale's Danny, The Saturdays and Loose Women's Frankie Bridge and Coronation Street legend Simon battling it out in the final to be crowned champion - following David Ginola finishing in fourth place on Saturday night.
But during the live show, Frankie was confirmed to be in third place leaving Simon and Danny to battle it out until the very end.
As both stars gathered in the studio to discuss their time in the castle, they waited nervously for the result.
Ant and Dec then revealed the vote was in and it was time to reveal who was 2021's I'm A Celeb winner.
Simon told Danny he was "chuffed" he had got the victory, while Frankie was soon handing him his crown.
As Ant and Dec finally heard Danny's reaction to the news, the actor said: "Wow, I can't believe it. I cant believe it mate. It's so sick. I am speechless for once."
He told viewers: "Honestly from the bottom of my heart and my family's heart, thank you so much. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me bar my son, I can't believe it I am in shock."
As the presenters confirmed the result to viewers, many took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the winner.
One viewer commented: "Congratulations Danny! Loved you since the first day you joined Emmerdale. Worthy winner!"
Another agreed: "So glad Danny won! A worthy king!"
A third added: "CONGRATS KING DANNY MILLER!!! what a worthy winner."
Some fans were gutted that Simon didn't win though, convinced he'd score victory after the latest eating trial.
The Corrie actor had made his campmates and viewers at home laugh all series, and his "banter" with Ant and Dec was certainly entertaining.
One viewer tweeted: "Simon obviously should have won so he's my winner."
Another said: "simon was robbed," as a third wrote: "How did Simon not win?"
Others called for there to be two winners this year, wanting both the soap stars to take the crown.
I'm A Celebrity is now available to watch on ITV Hub.
