Dart champ Luke Humphries spotted in Reading nightclub
A newly crowned dart world champion has been spotted celebrating his win at a popular Reading nightclub.

Luke Humphries won the PDC World Championship final, making him a world champion and local hero.

The new reigning champion and Newbury native, who defeated the 16-year-old sensation Luke Littler 7-4 in the final, was seen kicking back and celebrating with friends on Saturday night in his own reserved VIP table area at Club Era, Reading’s newest nightclub which launched last year.

The ‘cool hand’, who has now won four of the past five major televised tournaments in the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) was said to be in really good spirits by onlookers who saw the champion having a great night surrounded by friends and family but who also took time to mingle with the crowd of the 1,000 capacity venue, stopping to take photos with fans and staff.

A spokesperson for the venue said: “Luke was an absolute legend and we loved having him here.

"He really seemed to enjoy the music and his night out, and to have a World Champion choose the venue to celebrate his win was just amazing."
