2025 Daytona 500: Fans sign finish line, Trump arrives in Daytona
Before the 2025 Daytona 500, President Donald Trump was seen flying over the Daytona Speedway and fans chatted as they signed the track's finish line.
The 67th Great American Race made for an eventful Sunday filled with twists, turns, surprises and delays.
President Donald Trump took a lap around Daytona International Speedway in his black limousine, making history as the second sitting president to ever attend the Daytona 500. Not one but two rain delays had drivers sitting around, giving mid-race interviews and some even killing time by virtually racing on a livestream as they waited for an all clear. When the race finally started back up, multiple crashes took place on the track.
However, the most exciting part of the evening, the moment everyone was waiting for, was finding out who would take home the Harley J. Earl Trophy. Here's who won the Daytona 500, how much the purse was for this year's race, and just how social media reacted to it.
