Ralf Little emotional as he marks end of another chapter after Death
Ralf Little was emotional after he marked the end of another chapter following his exit from Death In Paradise, as him and Will Mellor reflected on the end of their podcast tour

Ralf Little reflected on the end of another chapter following his departure from Death In Paradise.

Following his exit from the BBC detective drama, he and best friend Will Mellor headed out on tour for their Two Pints With Will and Ralf podcast. However, the tour has now ended and both Ralf and Will have reflected on their live show ending.

A post on their official podcast Instagram account reads: "To every single person who came out to see us, bought tickets, bought some merch, spent this hard earned money on a bit of fun with our little pod, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"We’ve had the best time this month so much so, that we might just do it again sometime soon! A big shout out to your hosts @willmellor76 & @ralf.little and also all the team who put everything into these shows so you can have a fun night to remember. New pod out this week, merch available on the website. See you soon."

Ralf previously admitted he didn't want to leave the show - and if it was just a heart decision, he'd have stayed forever.

"This last series was always going to be my last series, I had talks with the BBC, and with Red Planet, the production company and we all agreed that it just felt... If it was in my heart, like if it was just a heart decision, I'd have wanted to do it for 20 more years," he said.

"But just for the show, and... for my character Neville, it just sort of felt like his story... it deserved to be sort of finished and his sort of journey... sort of deserved to be completed and he deserved a nice happy ending and so it just felt right."

In an emotional video following his exit from the show, Ralf teased more about the future of the show and who the new detective might be - but confessed he had no idea who would be taking the role over from him.

He explained: "It has been an absolute privilege and pleasure to bring Neville Parker to all of you and to share his really quite profound journey with you. I can't thank you all enough for the support over the last four-and-a-half years and as Neville heads off for new challenges and adventures and I head off for new challenges and adventures.

"When I look back at the time I spent on Death In Paradise, the way everyone took Neville into their hearts, it really has been one of the most magical and profound experiences of my entire life. If it wasn't for all of you, I'd have never of got to do it. So thank you, so so much! What next for the show? Well, I couldn't even tell you if I did know but I don't! I don't know!"
