The Latest Diamond Trend Big Sparklyand Green
Is it a lab-grown stone? Solar-powered? Diamonds are no exception to younger consumers’ growing concerns about how products are made.

While they still cost less, lab-grown stones are surging in popularity in part because they often avoid the human rights and emissions issues of traditionally mined stones. A decade ago, they were relatively unknown, but now make up a fifth of diamond sales by value, according to analysis from Paul Zimnisky, a diamond industry analyst.
