Body found in search for missing Dominic Yarwood

A body has been found in the search for missing Dominic Yarwood.

The 32-year-old was last seen at around 7.15pm last night (Wednesday) on Woodland Grange in Worsley.

Police have now confirmed that a body has been found in the search for Dominic.

Formal identification has not taken place yet, but his family has been informed.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

A statement posted on the GMP Salford Twitter page said: "#UPDATE | A body's sadly been found in #Worsley in the search for Dominic Yarwood.

"Formal identification hasn't taken place but we've informed Dominic's family as we believe it to be him.

"There's no suspicious circumstance and we're supporting his family at this awful time."

Earlier this morning, several footballers and celebrities shared an appeal for help to find Dominic, a football agency worker, on their Instagram pages.

Manchester City's Kyle Walker wrote: "MISSING. If anyone knows or has seen Dom Yarwood in Manchester contact 999 urgently."

Footballer Kieffer Moore, who plays for Cardiff City FC and Wales, and TV personality Ross Worswick, who appeared on Ex on the Beach and founded The Couture Club, also shared appeals.
