He had last been seen on Wednesday evening and appeals to find him were shared by England and Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, Preston North End's Isaiah Brown and Blackpool players Grant Ward and CJ Hamilton.

Sadly, police announced they had found a body earlier today.

Among those to pay tribute online, were Seasiders duo Marvin Ekpiteta and Keshi Anderson who were both represented by Dominic.

On Instagram, Marvin wrote: “Still can’t believe it, rest easy Dom."

Keshi added: “Lost for words. Not just an agent, but a friend. RIP Dom."

Tributes were paid from across the football industry as players, scouts and executives all remembered him fondly.

Dom had brought a number of players to Fir Park, including Christian Mbulu and Jermaine Hylton, and was always a pleasure to deal with. I am really, really shocked to read this tragic news. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Charlie Edinburgh, founder of the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation added: “RIP Dom, you was a pleasure to work with for the short time we did. A great character with a determination for success. It’s so sad it had to end this way. Sending love and strength to his family at this time.”
