In Its 60th Term, Americans Elect Their 47th President
Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
Eligible voters throughout 50 states, except the District of Columbia, will participate in the United States presidential election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, commencing at 7:00 AM (2 PM Kurdistan time), to determine the outcome for the 47th president.
Over 230 million people are eligible for voting in the US presidential election; however, approximately 186 million are registered to vote, with around 130,000 polling sites established nationwide.
Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris are the principal contenders in the 60th presidential election, from which one will emerge as the 47th president of the United States, which commemorated its 248th year of independence on Monday at the US Consulate General in Erbil.
