Borussia Dortmund 2 Rangers 4 LIVE reaction after astonishing victory in Germany
It was a remarkable night in Germany as Rangers ran out convincing victors against Borussia Dortmund.
The Ibrox side were hoping to give themselves something to hold onto ahead of next week's second leg in Glasgow but they did more than that at Westfalenstadion.
James Tavernier struck first when VAR awarded Gers a penalty before Alfredo Morelos converted at the back post to make it two before the break.
It looked like proper fairytale stuff when John Lundstram struck to make it three.
And while Jude Bellingham's finish threatened to spoil the party, it wasn't long before the three-goal lead was restored as a Morelos cross squirmed its way beyond Gregor Kobel to put Gio van Bronckhorst's team in command.
Dortmund were given a lifeline when Raphael Guerreiro came in off the right to curl a wonderful strike past Allan McGregor - and that left the home side with something to salvage.
But a two-goal lead will do Rangers nicely and they'll fancy their chances of finishing the job on home turf - even if there is plenty of work left to do.
