Eid al-Fitr
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has issued directives to imams of mosques regarding the observance of Eid al-Fitr. According to the religious edict (fatwa) pronounced by the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta, it is stated that Friday prayer is not obligatory for those who have performed the Eid prayer.
