The entry-level version is called the Cyberster Trophy. It delivers up to 250kW (340 PS) and 475 Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 62 mph (about 100 kph) in five seconds. The maximum speed is 121 mph, which is nearly 200 kph.

The Cyberster is also available as a GT variant, fitted with a dual-motor and all-wheel drive. With an output of 375 kW and 725Nm of torque, it is MG’s most powerful production model to date. It can complete the sprint from zero to 62 mph (about 100 kph) in just 3.2 seconds. The speed is limited to 125 mph, which is about 201 kph.

Both the Trophy and the GT have a 77 kWh battery, located in the chassis. It allows the entry-level version to go up to 316 miles (507 kilometres) on one charge, according to WTLP. The more powerful version has a WTLP range of 276 miles (443 kilometres). The Cyberster can charge with up to 150 kW. For the GT, that means the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 38 minutes.

Both variants also offer four drive modes: Comfort, Custom, Sport and Track. The EV has a 249-litre boot and will, for the time being, only be available as an open-two-seater. It thus comes with an electric-powered folding roof. Other features include Brembo brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen (as well as two smaller 7-inch displays), dual-zone climate control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree parking camera, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.

The MG Cyberster made its official European debut at the IAA Mobility in Germany last year. But SAIC brand MG already unveiled the production version of its Cyberster electric roadster at the Auto Shanghai in 2023.
