Webfeet launches EV Transition Tool to guide fleets in electrification
Webfleet has launched the 'EV Transition Tool' to guide and support fleets in electrification, helping them expand their electric vehicle (EV) fleets.

Webfleet, Bridgestone's fleet management solution, has launched the 'EV Transition Tool' to guide and support fleets in electrification, helping them expand their electric vehicle (EV) fleets.

The EV Transition Tool has been introduced under the 'EV Services Platform', launched by Bridgestone Mobility Solutions and Webfleet at the beginning of 2024, an ecosystem integrating mobility and energy providers solutions into a single platform.

As such, Webfleet's EV Transition Tool is designed to help fleet managers overcome obstacles and simplify the electrification process using a single platform.

The EV Transition Tool will help fleets in every step of an electrification journey, including:

  • Assessing fleet data, displaying the level of readiness for electrification
  • Calculate the total cost of ownership (TCO), operational costs and CO2 emissions
  • Assess the best EV models and needed charging infrastructure for fleets

"Our goal is to take the guesswork out of our customers' EV transition based on their own fleet data," said Taco Olthoff, EV Programme Director of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions.

"By providing fleets of all sizes with a quick TCO estimation, they can kickstart their electrification journey without the need for time-consuming and costly consultancy. Users can then take the next steps to electrification, supported by our network of expert partners, directly accessible within the tool itself."

The EV Transition Tool provides vital insights to fleet managers in their decision-making process and connects them to the energy and mobility service providers through the EV Services Platform.

Fully-fledged charging solutions are now much more accessible through the EV Services Platform. Initially, customers can directly connect to end-to-end charging providers, including VEV, Heliox, The Mobility House,  CTEK, Justplugin, ChargeGuru and Zeplug.

The Webfleet EV Transition Tool is initially available for cars and vans and will expand to other features and vehicle types. European Webfleet customers subscribed to special tariffs will pay no extra costs to use fleet data for customised electrification plans.
