Emma Stone wears bold one-shoulder gown at the 2024 BAFTAs
Emma Stone was the epitome of glamour as she graced the red carpet for the 2024 BAFTAs awards at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday night (18 February).
The best actress nominee for Poor Things looked stunning in a peach one-shoulder gown with a statement puff sleeve in a nod to her character, Bella Baxter.
The custom look by designer Louis Vuitton also featured a silk bodice and a chiffon skirt with a quilted band, which appeared to be inspired by the film's 19th century fashion.
Emma accessorised her look with a diamond necklace and earrings. For her make-up she opted for a dark pink lip and peachy blush that complemented her dress perfectly.
Emily Blunt, Rosamund Pike and Cate Blanchett were amongst the other guests present at the star-studded event.
This year's ceremony will be hosted by David Tennant for the first time, while guests will be treated by live music performances from Hannah Waddingham and Sophie Ellis-Bextor who will perform her 2001 hit "Murder on the Dancefloor" as featured in British film Saltburn.
Christopher Nolan's biopic Oppenheimer about the physicist described as the "father of the atomic bomb" is leading the nominations this year, receiving 13 nods.
Poor Things, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, follows closely behind with 11 nods, including in the best film category and best actress for Emma Stone.
Meanwhile, British films in contention this evening include Saltburn, All of Us Stangers and Wonka.
