Eva Longoria slashes price of Beverly Hills mansion for the SECOND time as she and her husband José Bastón att

Eva Longoria and her husband José Bastón have lowered the price of their 10,652-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion for the second time. 

After initially listing the property for $22,888,000 last year, the couple are, now, seeking $18,988,000, which is still nearly $5.4 million more than they purchased the home back in 2017. 

It is unknown how much the pair, who also own properties in Malibu Beach and Mexico City, spent on renovating the modern Spanish home, equipped with a gated driveway, security systems, floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive kitchen.

The property, which includes a cherry red front door, library, media room, tennis court and pool, also has eight bedrooms and 9.5 baths.

In 2022 during an interview with Architectural Digest, Longoria explained how her spouse's style influenced the space.

'My husband is a frustrated architect-slash-interior designer. He is very particular about every detail and he does a contemporary style that is functional and easy,' she said.

The mother-of-one continued: 'It’s not super modern with chairs you can’t sit in and sharp edges.'

Longoria also mused that she didn't think there would ever 'be a kitchen big enough for' her. 

'I’m insatiable,' she told the outlet. 

In addition to an impressive real estate portfolio and acting career, Longoria, best known for portraying Gabrielle Solis on her hit TV show Desperate Housewives, has expanded her empire to include her own tequila brand Casa Del Sol.

Before becoming one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood, the performer worked part-time at a Wendy's restaurant for three years to help earn money for her quinceañera. 

She also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, before winning the title of Miss Corpus Christi USA.

'I think there's nothing more beautiful than when a confident, smart, secure woman walks into the room,' the star said. 'My mum taught me that, so even though I grew up as the ugly duckling of my family, I didn't have a bad relationship with beauty.' 

She continued: 'What it taught me was don't depend on it. I knew I was going to be the smart one, I knew I was going to be the funny one, so even though I'm on the Most Beautiful List... it doesn't solely define me.'

As for her beauty tips, Longoria said she 'always' has mascara in her bag because 'it just brightens' her 'whole face.'

After becoming a mom, she has refrained from wearing red lipstick because she's 'constantly kissing and hugging' her son and doesn't want to get it 'all over him.'

'My beauty routine is definitely more efficient because I have a son. My beauty and makeup routine can't take a long time, I've got to get on with my day,' she explained.

As for who she views as her 'biggest beauty icons,' the actress stated she looks up to 'Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot as beauty references' as well as Salma Hayek.

Longoria has been happily married to Bastón since 2016. The pair share a five-year-old son, named Santiago Enrique, who was born on June 19, 2018.
