FA Cup fifth round replay, 1990-91
The greatest derby at Goodison Park? Goals from Peter Beardsley, John Barnes and Ian Rush were cancelled out by strikes from Graeme Sharp and Tony Cottee as Liverpool led four times before being pegged back in an astonishing 4-4 draw in February 1991. If that wasn’t enough, this was the last tie in which multiple replays would take place (Everton going through in the second replay) and it also marked the final game in charge for Kenny Dalglish, who resigned as Liverpool manager a few days later.Photograph: Ted Blackbrow/Daily Mail/Shutterstock
