Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur live Score how to watch live

Richarlison has scored twice on his return to Goodison Park as Tottenham lead Everton.

Tottenham looks to stay hot and complete a season sweep of Everton when the Premier League returns to Goodison Park on Saturday.

The two sides will kick off the Premier League matchweek with a 7:30am ET kickoff that will see Spurs looking to strengthen its top-four position and Everton aiming to climb out of the bottom three (again).

Everton’s season progress has stalled, and goals are the biggest obstacle as finishing stopped them cold against Fulham last time out.

Tottenham has won two of three after beating Brentford 3-2 on Wednesday and drew Man United in the third match of an unbeaten run, and posting back-to-back wins would be nice. That’s especially true considering their 1-2-2 run across their last five league home outings

Spurs pushing for the third now

James Maddison has a shot pushed away by Pickford as Werner has almost got in a couple of times and Tottenham are cranking up the pressure as they search for what would be a crucial third goal.

What a brilliant first half that was. Richarlison with two fine goals for Tottenham but Everton are causing so many problems with their crosses into the box. Buckle up. This second half is going to produce more goals. I promise you.

Another corner is whipped in and the header down looks like it’s in but Vicario does so well to save it with his feet and Spurs hack clear.

Oh my word, that is a lovely goal. James Maddison sets up Richarlison and the Brazilian curls home beautifully into the far top corner. Richarlison is on fire and that’s nine goals in his last eight games but he hasn’t celebrated either of them today out of respect for Everton. Tottenham back ahead before half time. What a game we have at Goodison.

Oh, they’ve done it. All game long Everton have been putting corners on top of Vicario. They obviously saw a weakness in the goal Spurs conceded against Man City in the FA Cup last week when Ake nodded past Vicario. This time the ball is whipped in and hits the far post with Vicario under pressute, then the ball drops to Calvert-Lewin and Jack Harrison to tap home and the latter has been credited with the final touch.

Well, that was lovely. Fluid move down their left flank from Tottenham and Udogie cuts the ball back to Richarlison who smashes home on the volley to make it 1-0. The Brazilian was respectful in his celebrations and his fine run (that’s now eight goals in his last eight PL games) continues. What a perfect start for Spurs.

This should be a beauty at Goodison Park! Spurs are so entertaining to watch but definitely leave chances for opponents with their swashbuckling style and it’s all about whether or not Everton can make the most of the chances they will get. If they do, we’re in for a thriller. Spurs have Sarr back on the bench after international duty, while Maddison, Werner, Richarlison and Johnson starting in attack is incredibly dangerous on the counter. Harrison supporting Calvert-Lewin whenever possible is key for Everton’s hopes of moving out of the relegation zone.
