Tebas reacts to Barcelona's 'ghost goal' against Real Madrid in El Clasico

La Liga president Javier Tebas has seemingly defended the lack of goal-line technology during Barcelona’s Clasico clash with Real Madrid.
The game at the Santiago Bernabeu saw plenty of controversy, not least when Lamine Yamal thought he had flicked Barca into a 2-1 lead.
Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin managed to scoop the ball away, but it seemed as though the ball may have crossed the goalline.
There was a lengthy VAR check during where it was decided it was not a goal, but of course if La Liga had the right technology the whole thing could have been clarified without any doubts in a matter of seconds.
You have to wonder why La Liga doesn’t have goal-line tech, which has been used with great success everywhere else, but Tebas doesn’t seem bothered.
He posted a series of article clippings on X highlighting errors in the technology and added the message: “No comment.”
Tebas is already pretty unpopular with Barcelona fans and his latest move won’t go down well at the club - particularly in a game against his beloved Real Madrid.
