Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's release date may have leaked ahead of its first trailer | VGC
The release date for Elden Ring‘s expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, may have been uncovered.
According to Deallabs user billbil-kun, who has a consistent track record of revealing game and product releases ahead of their public confirmation, the game is set to receive physical special editions containing the expansion in June.
According to their latest report, two special editions of the game will be released on June 21, each of which will be named Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and will contain the main game and its expansion DLC.
The two releases will be a Game of the Year Edition priced at €79.99, and a Collector’s Edition which will cost €259.99.
It should be noted that the release date of these physical editions may not necessarily be the same date the DLC is released, even though it appears likely.
If billbil-kun’s information is accurate, however, it seems all but certain that the expansion’s release date won’t be any time after June 21.
There may not be long to find out, because From Software will be premiering the first trailer for Shadow of the Ertree later today.

Shadow of the Erdtree was announced last year, a few days days after the title’s first anniversary, but further details about the expansion weren’t confirmed at the time.
