Masked Singer's Gloria Hunniford revealed as Snow Leopard as fans bemused by 'exaggerated' clues

Jonathon Ross might have guessed her but many viewers were thrown by what they labelled 'exaggerated' clues as Gloria Hunniford was revealed to be Snow Leopard on The Masked Singer.

Snow Leopard was the fourth act to have their turn in the spotlight on Sunday, following the shock elimination of Heather Small a night earlier.

Snow Leopard's cover of Big Spender wasn't enough to keep her from the bottom three as the panel opted to save Poodle and then picked Rockhopper and Bagpipes to stay in ahead of Snow Leopard.

Jonathan, famous for making some wild guesses on The Masked Singer, proved to be on the money as he rumbled Gloria from the get-go, but the rest of the panel were not the wiser and neither were plenty of people watching at home.

While some guessed right from her voice and the clues alluding to a long career in showbiz, others were bemused that they were meant to known that Gloria couldn't swim and had an 'alter ego.'

The clue package saw Gloria tease that Snow Leopard wasn't her "only alter-ego'" and, after removing her mask, she said this was because her Loose Women co-stars referred to her as 'Glo-Rida' when she appeared on the show during lockdown, and wore huge headphones on screen.

But, just like some of the other hints dropped in Snow Leopard's VT, many people thought this was too exaggerated and something only Loose Women viewers would have a slim hope of picking up on.

One tweeted: "POINTLESS CLUES!!! WHO THE HELL KNEW THAT GLORIA HUNNIFORD COULDNT SWIM!!!" with another equally perplexed and annoyed viewer reacting: "The clues on #MaskedSinger this year are ridiculously obscure... how the heck are the general public supposed to know Gloria Hunniford can't swim?"

A third posted: "The clues can get in the bin mind. How the fuck do we know Gloria Hunniford can't swim??? Also, she mentioned Bond cos she's interviewed MOST of them, she hasn't even interviewed all of them!!!"
