Richard Madeley won't return to Good Morning Britain tomorrow as stand-in presenter drafted in
GOOD Morning Britain's Richard Madeley will take another day away from our screens tomorrow.
The 65-year-old telly veteran was replaced on the show by regular show contributor Martin Lewis today.
And the money-saving expert explained that he will be back on Tuesday morning before bowing out for the rest of the week.
He explained after hosting the show today: "Thank you for having me @GMB and thanks for looking after me @susannareid100.
"Hope it was OK folks. I'm back tomorrow. Then that's my stint done. Now home for an hours kip before starting my MSE work."
One fan told him: "Breath of fresh air. Best wishes with whatever you’re moving onto next. I’m sure we’ll all continue to love it (not to mention benefit from it)."
Good Morning Britain revealed on Sunday that there would be a changing changing of the guard this week - with Richard being replaced.
ITV's morning show has been fronted by Richard and show favourite Susanna Reid on Mondays to Wednesdays since before Christmas.
He took over the job as the main presenter alongside Susanna after the departure of Piers Morgan, who is about to start a new show on talkTV.
She wrote on Twitter on Sunday evening: "Tomorrow, I am very pleased to say that @MartinSLewis will be hosting @GMB with me."

Her followers seemed happy with the last minute reshuffle, and one replied: "Absolutely excellent, I’m looking forward to watch you both, tomorrow morning lovely Susanna"
Another declared: "Lovely! Will be up bright & early to watch. Wish he could be on more often" as a third remarked: "Wonderful, he is the best co presenter since PM."
Martin used his hosting gig on today's GMB to put questions about the energy crisis to Health Secretary Sajid Javid.
He said: "Taking off my presenter's hat for a second and putting on my campaigner's hat - people on oxygen, people on dialysis machines, people in electric wheel chairs are in panic and shock that their lives are going to be cut off because of these energy rises."
