Greg James' Radio 1 no-show unveiled as stunt as he says he was 'taken' from Brits

The reason for Radio presenter Greg James' absence from work after the Brit Awards has been unveiled.
The Radio 1 DJ, 34, did not arrive in time for his breakfast show after being seen at the music ceremony last night and was replaced by Adele Roberts at the last minute this morning.
Adele said following the opening jingle: "Yeah about that, Radio 1 Breakfast with Adele Roberts – I can’t believe this is happening."
Referring to Greg as a "dirty little no show", she asked if anyone knew where Greg was.
Even Greg's wife Bella Mackie wrote on Twitter that he never came home after the Brits.
Now we know why he failed to make his scheduled radio appearance.
Greg's Radio 1 colleague Clara Amfo revealed on her Wednesday show that Greg's disappearance was planned all along.
Playing a short audio clip, Greg is heard saying that he's been "taken" and will be talking to Scott and Chris on the Scott Mills Radio 1 show at 1pm.
He said: "I have been taken... I was taken from the Brits last night.. I was at an after-party and I was taken and I'm locked away."
Clara then laughed about how "sinister" this was after playing the clip.
Elaborating on Scott Mills' show, Greg explained what happened further.
He explained: "It was really busy...it got really busy...it must have been an hour and half in, I got bundled out the back door, a blindfold was put on me and I was put in a car."
He added: "It's so hazy because...and you can hear it in my voice...I had a lot of wine."
