Haaland plans to stick around through November report
Cabinet turnover is common in the second term of an administration.

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland plans to stick around at least through the presidential election in November, according to a recent interview.

Cabinet turnover is common in the second term of an administration and sometimes near the end of a first term. Cabinet officials who served in Biden’s first term might step down if the president wins reelection this fall.
