  • Haas F1 Team has announced a new sponsorship deal with business-to-business payment solutions provider TransferMate.
  • Haas team drivers will have the TransferMate logo featured on the clothes they wear during their races as a way of displaying the partnership publicly.
  • “Efficiency is key to everything we do in Formula One and working with TransferMate adds another deliverable to our operations,” said a spokesperson for the team.

Haas F1 Team has confirmed that it will be pairing up with a business-to-business payment solutions provider.

Haas will now be sponsored by TransferMate Global Payments, which is a provider of business-to-business cross-border payments technology.

TransferMate, which is based in Ireland, will add its logo to the team’s race cars.

The drivers for Haas, Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen, will also have the TransferMate logo featured on their clothing.

This deal will last for the 2022 season.

The move comes after Haas ended its connection with its previous title sponsor.

The team used to be sponsored by Russian firm Uralkali, but this agreement was ended following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

In a statement, the team principal of Haas said that the company was pleased to be welcoming TransferMate.

Günther Steiner said that the team was happy to have a working partnership in place for this year and also into the future.

“We’re delighted to welcome TransferMate and we look forward to a productive working partnership in 2022 and beyond,” he said.

He added that TransferMate’s brand ethos included providing top products – and he highlighted that innovation was key to both of the industries in which the firms work.

“It’s clear that as a brand TransferMate prides itself on the delivery of the very best product. We share that ethos and, ultimately, we’re both in sectors where innovation is rewarded and actions need to be executed with confidence and precision,” he said.

He also said that efficiency was central to the Formula One workflow.

“Efficiency is key to everything we do in Formula One and working with TransferMate adds another deliverable to our operations,” he said.

For TransferMate, meanwhile, the chief executive there said that the two organisations were “like-minded”.

Sinead Fitzmaurice explained that going against the established norm was key to both groups – and that innovation had a strong role to play in this.

“The partnership brings together two like-minded organisations, each with a strong commitment to challenging norms through innovation,” she said.

She added that the company was positive about the future.

“We’re looking forward to seeing our partnership group throughout the 2022 Formula One season. It promises to be a very exciting year for both ourselves and the Haas team,” she said.
