Harry Maguire says Sir Alex Ferguson gave him the best advice he's ever received
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has revealed that the best advice he ever received came from legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferguson is a hero at Old Trafford, having won 13 Premier League titles, two Champions League titles, five FA Cups and four League Cups during his 27-years in charge of the club before retiring in 2013.
Since retiring, the Scot has been a looming figure at the club as an ambassador and consultant, such is his legacy. He continued that last season, travelling with the first-team to matches including in their run to the Europa League final.
Maguire was speaking with former United captain Gary Neville for his YouTube channel 'The Overlap'. During a round of quick-fire questions, he revealed that the best advice he ever received came in a conversation with the former boss at the back end of the last campaign.

"I think that's going to live with me forever now when I spoke with him and the last word that he said to me was 'concentration'. If I can't concentrate now then there's problems."
Maguire revealed in a previous episode of 'The Overlap' exactly how that conversation came about and gave a bit more detail on what was said.
"I seen him a couple of weeks ago and I was with Luke Shaw and we were speaking to him about it and he was asking Luke about how well he’s progressed this season and he said the main thing what’s progressed for you is concentration.
"Then he, as he was leaving, he left he said bye and then he turned round and went to me and Luke, 'concentration' and walked off."
Maguire is currently with England for Euro 2020 and will certainly need to keep his concentration against Germany in the round of 16 on Tuesday night.
