Harry Maguire’s cheeky fiancee sings about his ‘massive head’ - and sparked famous meme
Harry Maguire has been the rock at the heart of England's defence in Euro 2020 - and his own rock has been cheering him on from the sidelines.
Fiancee Fern Hawkins has been at the Manchester United captain's side for more than nine years, backing him as he rose through the ranks to become the world's most expensive defender.
Posting loved-up Instagram snaps of their life together and beloved dog Simba, she's not afraid of a cheeky jibe - sharing a video over the weekend of their family and friends joining in a chant about Harry's 'f***ing massive" head.
The Sheffield lass is just as sporty as her fiance, boasting a first class degree in science and physiotherapy, which might have come in handy as he faced a fitness scare coming into the tournament.
Shaking off his ankle ligament injury which ruled him out of the first two group games, the 28-year-old has bounced back in style, scoring in England's 4-0 drubbing of Ukraine.
It marked a stunning turnaround for the former Leicester ace, who last summer was arrested for aggravated assault during a holiday in Greece and was sent off in England's Nations Cup tie against (ominously) Denmark.
Meme queen who loves a laughFern, 25, accidentally became one of England's most recognisable WAGs in 2018, after a picture of her watching from the stands sparked a flood of internet memes.
Harry was spotted chatting cosily with his missus following England's victory over Colombia at the World Cup - the picture then went viral as he scored against Sweden.
The star got in on the action himself, captioning a tweet of the picture: “Can you ask the neighbours to put the bins out on Monday? We’re not going home just yet.”
At the Euros over the weekend, Fern left fans in stitches after sharing a post of their friends and family celebrating Harry's goal against Ukraine.
Hilariously, they can be heard singing the Manchester United chant: "Harry Maguire, he takes the vodka, he takes the jaeger, his head’s f***ing massive."
Evidently, Harry's affection nickname of 'slabhead' by the Old Trafford faithful hasn't gone unnoticed in the Maguire household.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Leicester and would like to thank everyone at the club, and the fans, for their fantastic support over the past two seasons.

“You can see he’s more confident in himself and has gone on to another level not just on his game but on his maturity.”
