Manchester United great Roy Keane slammed for 'pathetic' Harry Maguire criticism
The host of radio station talkSPORT - Adrian Durham - has slammed former Manchester United captain Roy Keane for his continued criticism of Harry Maguire, insisting he is doing it as he is "too scared" to criticise Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Keane has been guilty of regularly criticising the United defender in recent weeks, especially after the latter celebrated his goal for England in Friday night's 5-0 win over Albania in a potentially controversial manner.
Maguire, after netting the game's opening goal, cupped his ears and then put his fingers in them to block out the recent criticism that has been sent his way.
In some aspects, the criticism has been justified, with the United skipper's performances having fallen off a cliff in recent weeks. He was guilty of playing key parts in the defeats to both Liverpool and Manchester City, not to mention the defending for Atalanta's second goal in the recent 2-2 draw between the two sides in Italy.

Nevertheless, talkSPORT host Durham has laid into Keane for his ongoing criticism of Maguire, calling for him to "focus on other things" instead.
"He [Maguire] isn’t the problem," Durham told talkSPORT. "Roy Keane, why do you think he is going on about Maguire?

"It is ridiculous what he is doing. I don’t think it is helpful or constructive to an individual like Harry Maguire, who has got a lot to deal with.
