Excitement Grows Among Liverpool Fans Watching Harry Wilson for Derby
Liverpool fans are getting seriously excited about the prospect of Harry Wilson playing for them next season after watching the winger perform in tonight’s Championship playoff semi-final.
The 22-year-old Welsh international has spent the season on-loan from the Reds at Derby County under the watchful eye of Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, and it’s more than fair to say he’s easily justified being called one of the second-tier’s most exciting young talents.
Despite his youthfulness, Wilson has cemented himself as one Lampard and Derby’s most important players, and he came up with his 18th goal of the campaign when he coolly stroked home a penalty at Elland Road tonight.
Liverpool might well have one of the most potent and exciting front-three in all of European football, but plenty of their supporters reckon Wilson should be recalled to his parent club and given a chance to show what he can do at Anfield next season.
