Who is Louise Minchin in I'm A Celebrity 2021?
I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here is back and among those taking part in 2021 is Louise Minchin.
The journalist is one of the group of celebs who will be staying at Gwrych Castle in north Wales this year.
Louise, 53, is perhaps best known for being one of the main presenters of BBC Breakfast from 2012 to September 2021.
She started work for Radio 5 Live in 1998 and presented many of the station's main programmes, including Drive and Breakfast.
Louise was also one of the BBC's regular news channel presenters between 2003 and 2012.
She has presented a number of BBC shows including Sunday Life, Real Rescues and The One Show.
Louise has been married to her husband David for more than 23 years. The couple, who live in Cheshire, have two daughters.
Away from TV she is an amateur triathlete, and qualified as a member of the 2015 Great Britain Age-Group Triathlon Team (45–49 age group).
Speaking ahead of the show, Louise said: "Going on I’m A Celebrity is a big adventure," Louise said. "It is very different to sitting on the BBC Breakfast sofa and it will be scary and daunting but it will also be lots of fun.
"I’ve driven past the Castle quite a few times and I am really excited for it to be in Wales again. This time last year I had a broken ankle and I literally sat on the sofa at home watching every single minute of it thinking, ‘Oh my gosh that Castle looks incredible, one day I would love to be part of it’ and now I am!"
I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here starts on Sunday November 21 at 9pm.
Among the celebrities taking this year are David Ginola, Matty Lee, Frankie Bridge and Richard Madeley.
