Who is Snoochie Shy in I'm A Celebrity 2021?

It's not long until the 21st series of reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! returns to our screens.

The programme will see the latest cohort of brave celebs take on creepy crawlies and camp drama at Gwrych Castle, Wales.

Among the line-up is radio presenter Snoochie Shy - whose real name is Cheyenne Davide.

The 29-year-old, from South London, landed her late-night gig on BBC Radio 1Xtra in 2018.

Shy is on the airwaves from 11pm to 1am, Mondays to Thursdays.

She had joined the 1Xtra residency the year before.

Her show brings 'the best music, entertainment and late-night laughs from the hottest UK talent, with regular guests and scene characters passing through the studio,' according to 1Xtra.

Her career actually began at the age of 18 when she started blogging.

It lead to her landing work as a model for the likes of Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Doc Martens - to name just a few brands.

In 2015 Shy joined London's Radar Radio station, hosting the breakfast show.

She went on to become one of the faces of MTV UK, interviewing music stars and hosting live festival coverage.

She co-presents YO! MTV Raps and its sister show YO! MTV Rates.

And as if Shy isn't already busy enough - she is also an international DJ, having travelled the globe to perform for clients including River Island, G Star and Afropunk festival.

Shy also has a famous show-business 'husband'.

She is 'married' to well-known parody rapper Big Shaq, real name Michael Dapaah - kind of...

Shy 'married' Shaq in his 2018 music video 'Man Don't Dance', which sees the couple on their wedding day, with Shaq refusing to dance in a whole host of fancy locations - including their wedding reception - to really prove his point.

'Man Don't Dance' was the follow-up single of Shaq's 2017 viral hit, 'Man's Not Hot.'

Although they aren't really married, it's a running joke, with Shy often referring to Shaq as her husband.

I'm a Celebrity starts on Sunday (21 November) at 9pm on ITV.
