The anger is building at Inter Milan after another costly refereeing error in yesterday’s Serie A derby clash with AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that coach Simone Inzaghi’s scathing post-match comments are just the tip of the iceberg.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi did not hold back after yesterday’s derby against AC Milan.

The Nerazzurri coach argued that it’s the “third or fourth time” that his team have had a refereeing decision go against them.

This after they were denied what looked like a stonewall penalty.

Moreover, Inzaghi complained that when a decision does go Inter’s way, a “legal broadcast” ensues.

The Inter coach made clear that he is well and truly sick of the double standard.

Anger Builds At Inter Milan After Penalty Blunder Vs AC Milan

And according to the Gazzetta, it’s not just Inzaghi who is “starting to get angry.”

The overall mood is negative. The resentment is starting to build.

Inter’s squad and staff have all seen the replays of the incident in which Daniele Chiffi did not award a penalty despite what appeared to be a blatant foul on Marcus Thuram.

And this is not the first time that Inter have not received a penalty despite what appeared to be a clear foul.

There were similar incidents in matches against Empoli, Lecce, and Bologna recently.

Then, there is lingering bitterness over the awarding of a free kick in the Supercoppa Italiana final. That, led to a Milan goal, despite an apparent foul on Kristjan Asllani.

According to the Gazzetta, all of this is starting to cause anger within the Nerazzurri.
