The Russian Soyuz spacecraft, carrying NASA astronaut Loral O’Hara, Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy, and Belarusian spaceflight participant Marina Vasilevskaya, landed near Karaganda, Kazakhstan at 3:17 am EDT (0717 GMT; 12:17 pm local Kazakhstan time).
This safe return followed their departure from the International Space Station (ISS) at 11:54 pm EDT (0354 GMT) on Friday, April 5, completing the journey in approximately 3.5 hours.
