Many major supermarket chains reduced their opening hours over Christmas to give their staff some much-deserved time off.

Aldi remained closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day and shut early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, but what about bank holiday Monday?

Aldi has posted its festive hours online to help customers out and ensure they don't waste a journey.

On bank holiday Monday all Aldi stores will be returning to normal opening hours.

It means most branches will be operating 8am to 8pm on January 3.
