James Charles Shows Off Bald Look in New Instagram Stories

Makeup artist and YouTuber James Charles is always transforming himself and his look thanks to the power of makeup, contact lenses, wigs, and more. But he's recently taken things one step further and totally changed his appearance by shaving his head... or has he?

As noted by JustJared Jr., James showed off his bald new look on Instagram Stories before he went out for dinner, teasing the look by initially coloring over his hair and writing, "Waiting until you guys see what I did with my hair." Further photos and videos uploaded to his IG stories revealed a totally bald James, rocking his new shaved look with a classic black turtleneck, some chunky chain necklaces, and major lashes.

So did the star really decide to go bald, or is he just wearing a cap to prank us all? Fans are pretty sure that James is just playing and didn't decide to take the plunge and shave his entire head. Some were shocked by the dramatic transformation, and others were, well, a little scared. 

"Now tell me WHY I had to see bald James Charles on my tl," tweeted one. "I’m gonna see bald James Charles in my nightmares," wrote another. "Your bald era is coming isn't it sister," a fan tweeted at James. Even James himself got in on the fun, retweeting a joke comparison between himself and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and another saying he looked like gay Voldemort. 

We're pretty sure that James's new look is just temporary and will probably be the focus of a video sooner or later, but in the meantime, we are enjoying the memes and the jokes, so if the look sticks around a bit, we won't mind.
