No, Jennifer Lopez is not dead: Cruel hoax trends on Twitter

Jennifer Lopez has once again become a victim of a cruel death hoax which left many of her fans concerned. The singer is alive but how did the false rumour first start?

The American actress and singer debuted her newest rom-com Marry Me for this year’s Valentine’s Day which features actor Owen Wilson and Columbian singer Maluma.

Lopez is always busy whether this means making new music or filming new projects.

But this week, many of her fans were worried after false reports surfaced on social media.

For one reason or another, celebrities often fell victims to cruel rumours that leave their loyal fans worried and confused.

Lopez is the latest A-lister after fake news online reports surfaced claiming that she had died in a car accident. The reports are false and the actress is well.

The actress was involved in a collision with her two children and actress Leah Remini in Malibu back in September 2014 but thankfully nobody was harmed.

Just a day ago, Lopez shared a string of images on her personal Instagram account from her partnership with Dolce and Gabbana.

What has been the actress up to?

As per an Elle report from Tuesday, March 15th, Lopez is currently in Gran Canaria, Spain where she is filming the upcoming Netflix thriller The Mother.

The singer was seen with her boyfriend and actor Ben Affleck during one of her breaks over the weekend. Affleck travelled all the way to the Canary Islands to spend time with Lopez and their loved-up pictures are totally adorable.

Affleck is reportedly in Gran Canaria for a few days while Lopez continues to work on the Netflix project.

Has Lopez been victim to a death hoax before?

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Lopez has become a subject of a death hoax.

The same false reports appeared in early October 2021 and claimed that the singer was involved in a car accident.

In 2019, the Hustlers actress was once again subject of a similar fake news story, claiming that she had been involved in a vehicle collision.
