Joe Wicks suffers minor injury as he reveals 'cost' of fancy dress

Joe Wicks has suffered a minor injury to his hamstring, revealing he ‘twanged’ it while working out in a Buzz Lightyear costume.

It happens to the best of us.

After an energetic Fancy Dress Friday episode of PE With Joe, the star posted a very forlorn update on his Instagram Stories.

‘Twanged my hammy, didn’t I?’ he explained. ‘I believe in my head when I’m wearing suits that I can do things I can’t.

‘I believed I could do the full splits, and I went for it. And it’s cost me.’

Joe, 34, went on to show the moment it happened, as he attempts the splits with a face full of pain.

He added in an Instagram caption: ‘Heee heeee! Shamone. Legit pulled my hammy doing PE with Joe this morning.
