Wales Online reports that in a video posted to Instagram, Jonnie shared an update on his house renovation project as he continued to show off the work that was being done.

Fans were quick to send their love and support. Moira Rooney wrote: "Hope all is well with you," while Kate Moriarty added: "Sending lots of love to you and your family."

Janberry135 wrote: "Just an inspirational amazing man". Many others sent their love and prayers as Luctlaylayelly said simply: "You're amazing," and cathmac added: "looking good."

Just last week, he told his fans about having to make another trip to- the hospital. Giving fans an update on social media, he wrote: "I had a fever and acute stabbing pain in my right hand side. "Turns out I probably had an infection and other issues which I won’t bore you with.

"Been on drips, regular bloods taken and have observations every 4 hours through day and night."

Jonnie has since confirmed that he was discharged from hospital and is back home with his wife Jessica Holmes and sons Rex, four, and three-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac.

The presenter was diagnosed with terminal cancer after noticing his vision was getting blurry while driving as he filmed A Place In The Sun in Italy in 2020. He was then given six months to live within a week of returning home.

However, he has defied the odds and opened up about his story to encourage others to make the most of every day.
