Celebrities have taken to using their social media platforms over the past couple of weeks to share who they plan to vote for in the 2024 election and encourage their followers to make a voting plan.

Throughout the day on Tuesday there have been some celebrity sightings at the polls including the actor Paul Rudd, who was spotted handing out water to hydrate voters at Villanova University in the swing-state of Pennsylvania. “They are waiting in line for a long time and it's a wonderful thing that all of these young people are voting,” Rudd told MSNBC’s Jacob Soboroff.

Musicians and singer-songwriters Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, and Ricky Martin all performed and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday night at her final rally in Philadelphia. Throughout Election Day, Perry has been vocal about her support for the vice president, and this evening, reminded her followers about their voting rights.

Reese Witherspoon announced on her Instagram Friday that she voted for Kamala Harris. She reminded her followers today in a reel that voting is private.

Last week, some of the Hollywood stars from Avengers: Endgame including Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, Danai Gurira, and Chris Evans reassembled on social media to share that they were casting their ballots for Vice President Kamala Harris.
