Who is Kelvin Fletcher's famous wife, Eliza Marsland, and how many children do they have together?

Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher, his wife, Eliza Marsland, and their children are preparing to show their very own 120-acre farm, situated in the Derbyshire Peak District, to fans for the first time.

It’s all part of a new programme being broadcast tonight (Monday, January 17) on BBC One from 8.30pm which follows the former Emmerdale star and his family as they attempt to run their own ranch without any previous experience.

With help from his wife and the little ones, the Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure show will document the highs and lows of setting up and running your own farm.

You might want to know, though, ahead of its launch, who exactly Kelvin Fletcher’s wife, Elizabeth Marsland, is, and how many children the couple have? Here’s what we know.

Kelvin Fletcher: Who is the soap star’s wife, Eliza Marsland?

They had known each other since they were youngsters, but only entered into a romantic relationship after rekindling more than a decade ago.

Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, who is married to reality TV star Mark Wright, wasn’t at Kelvin and Eliza’s wedding, but was one of the couple’s well-wishers for the ceremony, which was adorned in candles and white roses.

She told OK! Magazine : "Seeing Liz and Kelvin looking so happy here today, I wish I could do it all over again. I’ve been texting her this morning wishing her luck. I knew exactly how she must have been feeling: emotional and a bit nervous.

“But I know Liz and she is very laid back and I know she will be enjoying every minute of it, too. My advice to her was to take in every moment and savour it because the day goes past in a flash."

Shortly after their ceremony, Marsland got a big acting break when she was signed to appear on BBC One’s In The Club, playing the character, Liz Steele.

Prior to this, she had appeared on an advert for the travel firm, Jet2, and starred in a short film.

As well as those opportunities, she’s had an illustrious career on stage. She’s appeared in plays, including the Final Whistle, Sue and Bob Too and the Famous Five at different theatre halls.

Her performance training came at the Manchester School of Acting and the London School of Music Theatre. She still, though, splits her time between the two English cities.

Kelvin Fletcher and his wife, Eliza Marsland, currently have two children together. Marine Molly, who’s 5, is their first child, and Milo, who’s 3, is their second.

But in an appearance on BBC Breakfast this morning (Monday, January 17), the couple confirmed they were expecting twins.

Host Sally Nugent said to the pair: "You were already quite busy, weren’t you, before you took on a farm, with two young children. And you have news to share with us this morning, which is…"

Eliza then told viewers: "We’re having another two more children!"

Fletcher announced in a post on the social media website, Instagram, in December, just before Christmas, that the couple were expecting another baby, writing that “Team Fletcher is about to get bigger” and the family would need another “pair of wellies”.
