In the clip she said: 'Happy IWD to all of you beautiful women out there. We do need it because women still face many barriers and challenges.
'Women are still not given equal opportunity in the workplace, if you look at gloval leaders they are still disproportionately male, there are parts of the world where women have little to no rights, and women are still harshly judged on what they look like, and just going with nature's way of ageing.'
'International Women's Day isn't about man-hating or blaming men it's about all of us coming together to ensure we see really positive change in the right direction for the younger generations.'
In her post's caption, Fearne added: 'Of course I need to caveat all of this by saying, there are even bigger challenges out there for women of colour and women in the disability communtiy.
