Kylie Minogue Wows BST Hyde Park

Kylie Minogue created something special onstage at BST Hyde Park last night (July 13th).

The Australian singer is in the fifth decade of her spectacular career, and she remains at the very top. Selling out BST Hyde Park, Kylie was joined by a glittering guest cast, including UK pop voice Marina, Brazilian star Anitta, and more.

Walking onstage to a huge welcome, Kylie delivered an incredible, show-stopping performance littered with her iconic hits.

Every inch the star, she moved from early moments in her career to recent hits, while dropping in a few surprises, too. Performing a glitzy rendition of ‘Tension’, she then told the London crowd: “I never thought I’d be in front of thousands of people singing, ‘Touch me right there’… Don’t make me cry, don’t make me cry – we only just started… there’s so many of you. Hyde Park, are you ready to have some fun?”

There were a few guests, too. Anitta returned to join immortal synth banger ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’, while new single ‘My Oh My’ was given its debut live airing – complete with guests Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo.

A stellar two-hour headline set, Kylie pulled out all the stops. “Here’s the thing, I knew we were going to be here tonight,” she continued. “I knew you were going to be here tonight, but you still take my breath away. British Summer Time, I’m really aware it was nine years since I last played this stage… But we are here and I am so so grateful.”

BST Hyde Park series continues tonight – July 14th – with a headline show from Stray Kids.
