World Snooker Championship LIVE with Kyren Wilson vs David ...
Kyren Wilson revealed that he was told off by his brother for attempting the tournament's first 147 break.
In the final frame of the session, Wilson built up a break of 88 and was firmly set on attempting a maximum, but came up just short when attempting a late red.
Wilson admitted that it would have been "special" to make a 147 in front of his children, who missed his first and only Crucible maximum, but his brother was far from happy.
"It was a good session, very open and attacking," Wilson told the BBC. "There were lots of good breaks. You want to perform for the crowd and that's why I tried for a cheeky 147.
"It would have been so special to make it in front of my boys. My brother [Taylor] told me off (for not concentrating on winning the frame)."
