An acclaimed comedy-drama is among the movies on TV tonight
It's Wednesday.
Halfway through the working week and the weekend feels so near but yet so far.
Thankfully though, there are some good movies on the telly this evening to brighten your mood.
Here are your options on Wednesday, 6 April.
Stan & Ollie - BBC Two - 9pmOur pick for tonight, this biographical comedy-drama sees Steve Coogan and noted Ireland enthusiast John C. Reilly star as legendary comedy double act Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
The movie centres on the pair in their later years as they attempt to reignite their careers by embarking on a gruelling theatre tour of post-war Britain.
Comedic in tone yet also melancholic, Stan & Ollie is absolutely worth watching for Coogan and Reilly's pitch-perfect performances embodying the two icons.
JOE had a chance to speak with the actors about the movie at the time of its release, which you can watch below.
