Australia's largest airline is having a 24-hour sale on flights from Canada

Ready to leap into a great deal this Leap Day? Australia’s largest domestic and international airline, Qantas, is having its first-ever 24-hour Leap Day Sale to help inspire Canadians to book a trip to Australia this year. So if you’re ready to explore destinations like Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, and beyond – now’s your chance to score a deal on flights Down Under.
According to the national carrier, many travellers list Australia among their top “bucket list” trips, but say the extended flight time is a barrier to booking their trip.
This calendar year includes an extra 24 hours to offset the flight time, courtesy of being a Leap Year. So there’s never been a better reason to make the “leap.”

The sale will be valid for 24 hours on Thursday, February 29th (12:01 am to 11:59 pm PST), offering Canadians $250 off non-stop round-trip Economy cabin flights from Vancouver to Sydney.
Passengers can use code LEAPDAY to secure the deal after searching and booking their flights online.
Note that once the sale is live, those booking their trips will be able to see applicable blackout periods and discounted fares.
So there you have it, travellers! Ready to put Australia on your map of travel this year?
